I am absolutely shocked at the disappointing service from ADT. I contacted the call centre on the 04 June requesting that my contract be cancelled as I have realised I am paying way too much for a service i barely use and would prefer to move to a new service provider in Port Elizabeth. I was then requested to send through an email requesting cancellation, which i immediately did .(E7EDAAD512949).
Upon receiving no acknowledgement of request i once again called the call centre on 11 June and spoke to a gentlemen named Gershwin. I was told my cancellation is in progress and it is thought that it would be 30 days from the date of email. No confirmation could be given as to when i would be contacted by ADT PE, i was told before the end of the month! I requested to speak to somebody in the cancellation department and was put on hold without being asked to wait, only for him to eventually return to say he there's no answer and hang up on me!!!!
This is absolutely ridiculous after my 5 years of dealing with this company, i am not even assured of when i will be paying until, nor when the service is stopped.
I will never deal with this commercialised incompetent company again.
