On 10 December 2012 I phoned Multichoice to reactivate my DSTV which had been dormant for more than 4 years. The DSTV agent assisting me was having a major problem activating the decoder saying eventually the decoder was defective and I must take it too an agent for a check up
Regarding the debit order the DSTV agent also had a major problem activating the debit order as I am paying my daughters DSTV from my bank account and the system would not allow him to create two separate debit orders. The DSTV agent eventually got the debit order sorted out saying all is 100% and guaranteed me the debit order was in order for both accounts
Tonight when I got home the decoder was deactivated due to non payment???
And now I must pay R50 re-connection fee for Multichoice's mistakes. Surely this is not an acceptable manner in which to conduct business
