Multichoice
What customer support?

My smartcard expired, and DSTV was turned off on 31 March 2013. I have been battling to get a new smartcard for the last 3 weeks in the Secunda area. They do not have any stock. (only receive 50 per month). I called multichoice first on 27 March to tell them that I can not find a new smartcard. I was told by the operator that should my DSTV be switched of I should just call them and they will switch it back on. he will make a note on the system that there are no smartcards available in my area. I called them again on 01 April asking them to switch on again. The operator told me she can not switch it on with the old smartcard. I again explained the problem. She said I should go to Randburg and exchange the card there. I told her it was impossible. I phoned again on 02 April. same story, but she promised to take it up with her supervisor and they will call me back. Till now nothing. The debit order has gone through my bank account. so its paid for, but no DSTV. how can Multichoice sell me a decoder in Secunda, then decide to let the smartcard expire, and not make sure that I have support in Secunda?
