My wife & I came from Paarl to Cape Gate Brackenfell planning to watch"The Host"which showed on the display board and website that it was playing at 22:45.At 22:25 I went to the self help ticket machine it was already off. When we approached the front desk ster-kinikor staff members were there. They said that the film projector was broken. While they were explaining I noticed 2 of the staff members laughing.1 of the staff members (Cindele) identified herself as the manager. The person who works the projector was there he confirmed that he tried to get hold of the the repair person to fix the projector. They advised us to watch the movie the next morning. We reluctantly watched something else.By then the roll up gate of the cinema was already being closed? We wanted to purchase popcorn... The "shop" was almost closed. There was no indication on the timetable that "The Host" wasn't playing. Had I known I would've went elsewhere. I don't believe the projector was broken. I believe that they wanted to go home early as we were the only 2 people to still watch a movie. If a movie is not going to be playing then they shouldn't advertise it. It was confirmed the next day by the morning staff.
