I bought 2 tickets for a performance in Cape Town. Due to work, I am unable to attend this performance.
To refund me, and I find this in bad taste, 7 days before the event is a 50% cancellation fee (how was I to know I couldn't go at such a late stage) Never mind - I unhappily have to cancel the tickets. Going to my nearest Checkers, I sadly gave them back my tickets for the show.
Now, here I am, already sad, and I am told that this is their policy for refunds: I need to pay half the price to them before they can go ahead and pay me the full refund? Isn't this stupid? Cant they just refund me 50%?? I now had to pay extra, on my card, and I have to wait 3 to 7 working days for my refund to go through???
I am absolutely off!!! This is no way to work - come now Computicket, this isn't the dark ages!!! Surely the refund to me of 50% can be done, not me having now to pay you 50% then you repay me the full amount??
I am not a happy person having to cancel in the 1st place, now you rub salt in my wounds by making me pay again? that's over R1 200 I have to pay you? To get my refund??
NO NO NO!! Get a better refund system guys!!!
