Multichoice
Insured PVR

We have a pvr with extra view. On Mon 11/03/2013 our dstv worked perfectly, on Tues 12/03/2013 for some other reason the PVR stopped working but the extra is still working. I've contacted the Multichoice in Ladysmith regarding this issue, as such I got very annoyed with the consultant, dropping the phone in my ear twice, very unfriendly and not helpful at all. My pvr is issured with Multichoice, but I was told by the consultant that I must bring the pvr in, it will be send away for repairs, it can take between 7-14 working days, if however it can't be repaired it will be replaced, furthermore I've been told that Multichoice does not supply you with a "borrowed"decoder while yours go in for repairs. How is this possible? The service I wont be using has been paid for already and that includes the insurance. Please take note, our closest Multichoice agency is 45 min drive from us, so it's not a case pop in over lumch time.
