I pay my account with DSTV every single month via EFT from ABSA, in fact, most months it is even paid before the due date. My service was disconnected on the 4th of March 2013, I spent over 10 minutes on the phone to their call centre to get my service reconnected which I paid for before the due date only to be put on hold and not informed of being put on hold. The call centre agent then even argues with me regarding the payment date. Please can the call centre staff be advised to inform customers holding on from their cellphones to please be patient and that they are being placed on hold. My account was paid 08:51am on the 28th of Feb 2013. I will be watching my statement for the reconnection fee of R50.00, my service has now been reconnected but that is no way of treating a customer.
