Last week my fiance set up our debit order as it would be easier than an EFT (and she wants to enter competitions). On Wednesday, she gets an SMS to say she must pay or the account will be suspended. She went and did an EFT for R555 (DSTV message said R542). Now yesterday, the DSTV was off with an E16-4 error. I had to spend 20 minutes on the phone getting this rectified (to a cell number). I got asked stupid questions and they had no idea what I was talking about. Then the CC agent said we must pay R15 to get our account in the clear which is rubbish. The new message on DSTV is that we need to also pay the R50 reconnection fee which I will not be doing and want it removed as debit order change was confirmed, so was the eft payment, meaning I did not need to get cut off in the first place.
