I phoned DSTV three times this morning between 11 and 11h30 at 0215082222. The phone either keeps on ringing. When I did get through twice, I waited for more than ten minutes for an answer. In vain. I paid my account via internet yesterday evening, but today my service was cut off. I got confirmation on my phone that my credit card was debited with the right amount. I even paid in advance.
DSTV wastes the time of thousands of people with its long recordings before you can reach a consultant. They will be able to serve MANY more customers if they stop asking unnecessary information. Although you type in your smart card number, you have to repeat it again to the consultant. Not only time, but also telephone costs are wasted. DSTV is aware of this but does nothing.
