I rented out movies at Blockbusters Midway Mews on the 28th of September and returned them on Sunday the 29th of September, the store was still opened. I went back to the store today to hire out movies and to my surprise, there was a penalty of R68.00 for late returns on the 30th of September. I explained that I had brought back the movies the next day but the lady who was serving me didn't seem interested. I ended up having to pay the penalty fee. It puzzles me that no one captured the movies on that specific day and only did it the next day and now I have to pay for their mistakes. Paying a penalty fee when I know that I was at fault is not a problem but not when it's not my fault. That's very dishonest. Can I have this issue resolved pleased?
