Ster-Kinekor
Movies shown too late for out of town cinema goers

My name is Debbie Unwin and my friends and I drive to the Ster Kinekor cinema in Potchefstroom at the Mooiriver Mall a few times a year to go and watch movies. It is the closest theatre to Kroonstad that shows new movies and movies in 3D. We had planned to drive up on Sunday 15 September 2013 to watch Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. Upon consulting your website I discovered that Percy Jackson is being shown only at 19:30 at night. This is not a problem for residents of Potchefstroom but we have an hour and a half drive home and if we were to watch the movie we would only get home at 11:00. It is not safe for young women to drive in South Africa this late at night. What if our car broke down. You have previously alternated 3D movies and I was curious as to why you haven't done it this time. We cannot afford to drive up to the movies every weekend due to the cost of petrol and so waited until both movies we wanted to see were showing only to find out that one was showing so late there was no chance of us seeing it. Please try to alternate movies on Sundays so that at least one of each show is during the day. Even a 09:00am show would do.
