I have a recurring debit order with MC South Africa. November debit went off with no issue, but December one was returned as claimed by MC. They then CUT me off, without even attempting to contact me to resolve issue. Further, they then wanted me to pay a reconnection fee. I paid the outstanding amount manually, but refuse to pay the reconnection, since it is NOT my fault. I hve subsequently confirmed with my bank that the debit did in fact go through, but is waiting for MULTICHOICE to di it's banking before it is authorised!!! I therefore categorically refuse to pay the reconnection, and demand an apology from MC!
