Inefficient management of accounts

I downgraded to a cheaper DStv package from 1 November 2013. Although Ms Letlela assured me that the debit order would also be adjusted on 1 Nov 2013; the full debit order was deducted from my account. After several communications, a cheque for the overcharge was deposited into my bank account BUT

1. I have pay the expensive banking costs for this deposit
2. The clearing period for this cheque is 14 work days - thus ca end of November

Problem: I downgraded because I need extra money for medical expenses on 1 November 2013 and all my effort was in vain, as I now have to wait until end of November for the clearance of the cheque. NOTE This problem was caused by the inefficient management of Multichoice account and not my fault.

On further enquiries, they said that they have no control over cheque deposits - don't they know that they should have requested immediate clearance and that they should have paid the bank costs?

I would appreciate your help to get my money back as soon as possible
