Firstly, I can't phone for technical assistance to report the problems I experience with my HD PVR. The system does nor recognise my ID number as a reference, which I have to tap into my phone. However, when I go to their offices at N1 City, Cape Town, the same ID number is used without a glitch. This makes telephonic (call centre) assistance impossible.
My PVR randomly responds to recording commands. It mostly just does not record, although the screen would indicate that it does. This is not the only problem. This morning the screen just froze, and upon resetting, we've lost all the entertainment recordings, which we normally watch on a Sunday evening. It is also not the first time and happens on average once every second week. What a frustration!
