DSTV have this frustrating feature where a code is verified on the decoder, which in the case of my older decoder, also resets the decoder so that it has to load up channels and data before being operational. This is a time consuming process. The previous time it did this, I had to take the decoder in for an upgrade and the problem was resolved.
Given the other frustrations such as frequent program repeats and the very high advert to content level of programs and the fact that more than 90% of the channels that I pay for, are simply not relevant, I have serious doubts if the close to R8400.00 annually subscription is value for money.
The straw that will break the camel's back is the resets. Do this to me one more time and I will certainly unsubscribe to your to the service. There are many other less frustrating and cost effective options available than DSTV
