NO REMOTES FOR MY MODEL OF DECODER

We have a single view decoder, a DSD933. However, the remote broke recently. We have gone from store to store, and the only remotes being stocked, are for the 1100 range of decoders or PVR's. We have purchased two from various stores, and found both not to work. We contacted Customer Care who kept us on the line for a substantial length of time, and eventually said we need to go into a walk-in centre. Today the walk-in centre was contacted, who advised that they only sell remotes for the 1100 range and not for my decoder. I queried how they could not stock the relevant remotes, and surely there should be a way of then upgrading the decoder, in order to get the correct remote. Judith at switchboard, said there isn't a way to upgrade the decoder, and that we must come in to the walk-in centre. For what?? To be told once again that nobody keeps remotes for DSTV's own outdated 933 model??? I asked Judith to speak to someone, to which she advised that none of the persons had phones, but then told me to hold and came back and said that line is busy and put me on hold. She then advised that I was blocking her board Is there anyone at DSTV/Multichoice that can answer all this???
