I called DSTV today to tell them I'm going away for a few days and that they should disconnect my services. Moho tells me they are going to charge me a reconnection fee when I ask them to reconnect again. I tried to explain to her that I had done this before and that I have never been charged for it. She insisted I would be charged.
I asked to speak to a supervisor, she kept me on hold for a long time on the call that I am paying for. She told me I would get a call back. After confirming my phone number at about 13:00' I am still waiting for a call at 18:37.
It seems they are either not trained or they have double standards or perhaps they don't care about calling back. Maybe Mpho is still very new at this and needs a bit of training still.
