DStv deducted 2 x months payments at once off a single payment on 02/12/13. I called the call centre on 02/12/13 and a guy advised me that he has taken the necessary steps to refund the extra payment of R625 after I email my I.D and bank statement, which i did immediately. He said it would take 3 days. I called again on 05/12/13, spoke to Blessing who advised that nothing's actioned on the system & he'll restart the process. I asked to speak to his supervisor who I was told is Amukelani. She advised that she'll listen to the recording of my 1st call & call me back and that the refund will take 7 days!!! No response received & I call back 09/12/13 & spoke to Omolemo who advises me that I now need to wait 14 days!!! Omolemo says she'll get Amukelani's supervisor to now call me (Faizel). This is, If I pay my acc 2 days late my service is disconnected & charged a reconnection fee but Dstv will gladly keep my money that I need for as long as they wish!!! If they did this to 1000 people per mth they would have R625000 to earn interest on for as long as they take. This must be illegal. So much of trouble to recover my own money!!!
