The finale of the current season of Idols USA was not broadcast as stated in various publications and the SABC's own website. It was scheduled for Saturday night, with a repeat on Sunday midday. Instead (due to sport??) they broadcast nothing on Saturday night... and a repeated episode on Sunday.
This is just one example of schedules being totally incorrect. This is understandable when sudden more important other live events need to be covered... but surely the SABC can update it's own website to reflect changes to programming? Programs being 'rescheduled' without notice is an ongoing problem...
Every publication that publishes SABC TV schedules adds a disclaimer stating that the information was provided by SABC TV. How this information is different on different media astounds me... because it's all supposedly originating from the same source.
Perhaps SABC TV really doesn't give a when it messes viewers around. You can watch a series religiously for months and then the finale... doesn't exist! Alternatively, the person/people responsible for giving out programming details has NO idea what is actually been shown, when. It's pathetic!
