I attended the WWE World Tour at the Westridge Stadium in Durban last week Thursday.
When the event had ended and we where leaving there had almost been a stampede at the one end of the arena, as the space in which we had to pass had been extremely small.
Patrons from opposite direction tried to pass through and pushing from either side and we had been crammed inbetween. I attended with my 7 year old nephew and my elderly 65 year old dad.
We had been pushed and shoved and the security company (Bhejane security) officials just stood by and watched.
I had to try and hold off a number of animal like patrons who had been exerting extreme pressure towards us especially my nephew who is just a child.
Finally one of the guards screams and asked people to move in opposite direct.
There had been not one sign u directing us to the exits, yet when we get to the exit there's a sign saying exit.
Why do you need such a huge sign at the exit, when you need much more signage put up all over the arena to direct people in the correct direct??
Why did the security not know of this either?
Someone here is to blame!
How did the event pass the heath and safety regulations?
Really not impressed.
