I phoned and cancelled my DSTv on June 11th, 2013 because the content was no longer worth the R727.72 I was paying each month. They suggested I make sure I terminated the service before June 26th to avoid the debit order going off for the next month: I did. Guess what? The debit order went off. I phoned, they apologised and said it would be fixed. It wasn't. I went to Randburg in person on July 1st. I was expecting an amount of R824.75, they told me that they would pay an amount of R822.66 into my bank account before the end of the week. I asked about the difference, they said it had to do with the approx. R2 they discounted for the debit order. I agreed. Today is August 2nd, 2013. Still not resolved. I called. Again, they apologised for not having refunded my money; only this time they now tell me the amount they will pay me is R820.30 - why? Because of the same approx. R2 for the discount on the debit order. How many calls costing me R2 debit order discounts must I make before nothing is left to refund? Not my problem, waive the R2 and pay me what you promised to pay me at the beginning of July - R822.66. Geez! Enough already of shoddy service Multichoice!
