We went to V&A to watch a movie. The venue was filthy. For the Friday night 8pm show, the popcorn was cold and stale. I paid for the snacks with my chip credit card, I was just handed the slip to sign without inserting my pin, when I queried this I was told they just manually put the card through so they don't have to ask you for the pin. This is not legal and defeats the purpose of the chip and pin on my card. I asked to see the Manger and she was rude, and just said that's how they do it.
Stay away from Nu Metro V&A Waterfront! The service and venue is disgusting. The staff are untrained and the Managements attitude made my skin crawl! This is not the first time I have experienced bad service there. Do yourself a favour and rather go to Ster Kinekor I will from now on.
