Refurbished decoder keeps on breaking

I have had to replace my HD PVR decoder 3 times since 2 Apr 2012, resulting in losing all my series and movie recordings still to be watched.
It has just broken AGAIN and after having been informed by the call centre that it will have to be replaced, I spoke to Doreen at insurance, explaining to her that it is the 4th time in just over a year where I have lost all my recordings after having had to replace my unit. I asked her how they propose rectifying the problem of replacing faulty equipment with old, poorly repaired ones and she confirmed that I will just get another poorly refurbished unit, having to go through the same issue again in a few months time.
Surely Multichoice can recognize that it is unaceptable to keep on replacing with old units which keep on breaking...?
This really is NOT called Customer Service and goes totally against their own value statement of "taking customer care seriously"
