We as a family of 5, went to watch Fast and the Furious 6 on Sunday 26 May 2013. 1 family member is a 3 year old girl, who is well adjusted and not bothered by mild movie-violence. She has a very good supporting family, who takes the time to explain things, and avoid exposing her to things that could have a long term negative impact on her.
Having seen the movie myself, I did not find anything in the movie that I felt inappropriate for this specific 3 year old.
Now... this complaint is NOT about the cinema not allowing her to see the movie (I did in the end take her on a 2 hour tour of the funtumbles areas).
This complaint is about the fact that there were at LEAST 5 other children (under 8) that came out of that specific movie. 1 family had 2 boys under 8 in there, another had a toddler (about 2-3) and a son of 5 or 6, one family had a young girl of probably 4, and there were 10-15 other kids in there that I very much DOUBT were over 13... in most cases I judge them 9-11 at most.
I expect an entertainment house to enforce consistent policies, not base admission on race. we did bring this up with management at the time and got very couldn't-care-less responses about that
