I recently bought a few tickets for Cirque du Soleil. Later, we wanted additional seats for more people who wanted to join us. Immediately we were told that it would not be possible - I then asked for a manager. Incompetence is now the name of the game here. The manager could not even log on to the system after I gave him the seating number - he immediately told me that he "guarantees" me that there aren't any seats left. He also could not book a specific seat or even check whether the seat is available - the "convenience system" does not allow it. We now were forced to sit in different blocks.
My question: how pathetic is a system which sells seating, if they cant even have a look at the seating? This is an obvious fundamental flaw and nothing that bothers Big Concerts it seems.
So even though the manager "guaranteed" me that there were no open seats- there were in fact a WHOLE ROW of open seats behind me where not a single seat was taken. I find it very hard to believe that people would lose R4000 for this row of seats so I am sure they weren't sold. Even if they were - the convenience system inconvenienced me and should be looked at
