I live in Burnett Villas, 1172 Burnett Street, Hatfield. I have been living here for over 3 years and only had a couple of issues with the management.
So, they decided to take off all our DSTV dishes out of the blue (Even though letters went out 6 months prior, with no input from the residents whatsoever). I phoned in to the person in charge of this blocks management, and all I got back was negativity and a "deal with it" attitude. After connecting to the communal system, which I had to pay R400 for, the problems got only worse. Only 30% of my channels work at a time!! After 2 call-outs from their contracted technician and 4 months later of complaining nothing has happened. I am truly disgusted in the way they are handling this situation. If I phone in they only offer me no answers. And I am not the only one complaining... This is a major problem, but you know... If you don't actually reside here, why should you care? I am done being patient and timid. The worst part of this story is, when I asked the person responsible for managing our block, Morris Stone, about the layout of our block, he had no idea what I was talking about...
Sort this out asap, we gave you 4 months.
