I have been renting in Buh-Rein estate and moved out back to Pretoria. They said that the exit exception will happen when I move out. That did happen and Francios Bester inspected the unit and even called me and said that the unit was in good order and the marks will be washed off the walls. The next thing I get a bill and said that they will have to paint. I had no problem with that, what I did have a problem with is that they want to charge R300 per hour to paint 4 walls and that will take them 5 hours!! The flat is 64sqm and seriously it can't take that long! So what I did was requested proof on 07 March that they in fact took that long and got a reply that made no sense without the proof! The reply did end with "As U nogsteeds vreeslik ongelukkig is met die kwotasie wat uitgerig is, kan U dit met David Brits (Hoof Bestuurder) bespreek" so sarcasm is part of this game they play! Now Dawid Brits is not "there". It seems that someone is passing the buck or avoiding the obvious! I see that this is not the only complaint on Hello Peter regarding this so just be careful when moving out.
