I moved in at Florida Heights on the 1 December 2012. When i initially applied I was dealing with the Penny. I signed the lease and everything was fine. On the day that i was supposed to move in, I thought she will be there to welcome in but that did not happen. Now that I am supposed to move out, 9 months later. I am told that R2572.18 is going to be deducted from my deposit. I did not accept the quote. They had quoted that the unit has to be repainted. When i moved in, I asked Penny why the unit was not painted. She advised that they will not paint as the walls looked fine - this is not what it stated on the entrance inspection form that she signed. According to their welcome letter, I was supposed to conduct the entrance inspection which i never did. So the ETHICS of this company is questionable because the inspection was conducted on the 3rd December, which i do not understand how she got access to the unit because I was not there. On the entrance inspection, it states that there were marks on the walls But they expect me to pay for the wall that was already dirty when I got there. I DID NOT ACCEPT THE QUOTE BUT I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WILL CONTINUE EVEN WITHOUT MY APPROVAL!!
