I saw a ad for a 2 bedroom apartment, in Standlou Court Bellville on Gumtree Wednesday Morning and mailed Daleglen Properties to find out if it was still available at 8:00 am. I received a reply from Melissa on Thursday at 2:49pm to advise the place was still available and that I can arrange a viewing with John. I called john and made arrangements to view the place on Friday 4:30pm. John advised us that we were the first to come and view this apartment. Knowing that Daleglen Properties would be closed on a weekend, and the fact that you cannot forward applications over email or fax, I raced off to town this morning. I work in Parow so this meant I had to take a half day at work to submit my application. I get there and immediately get told that the place was filled on Friday. I am dumbstruck. No apology no nothing... Just plain that it's no longer available. If it was taken I would have expected Melissa to at least advise, or them to let John know that the property was filled. I have previously applied for a apartment within Stanlou Court and simply got no response after 3 days as they state. I had to call them numerous times for feedback. What happened to communication?
