I terminated my lease with huurkor properties on 31 August 2013 and moved to new premises after serving 2 months notice period. under the contract i was supposed to be reimbursed my deposit within 21 working days. this has not materialized because the agent handling my case keeps changing list of repairs to be completed among which is dirty shower which has been quoted R700 to be cleaned even though they are people currently residing in the unit. after an initial complaint the defects list was reduced but to my surprise i have now been handed a higher quotation for less work.
i feel like there is a deliberate effort to swindle me out of my deposit.
