I had a water leakage at my property for about 2 years. I have reported this matter to the property managing company, I was always told that there is no leakage. My ceiling in covered with a black mould and as a results my son developed nasal related deseas. He had to undergo Cesarean.
Last week the management sent another team to investigate leakage from the roof, which caused damage to the property on the ground floor. Today I received a call requesting me to accept the quote before the end of today. They also send someone to come and fix the roof that they have been telling me, for the last 2 years that it was not leaking.
The total cost they want me to pay is more than R10 000, and they say if I don't accept the quote, they will take action through their layers. I informed them that I will take up the matter with the consumer complaint office.
I really need your help.
