I phoned the standard bank call centre about a month ago to advise about the leakage in my living roof cause by the heavy rains and winds that the cape has been receiving i live close to the beach and we get it the worst. I was told that they will be coming out the saturday whereby we waited and nothing- i then phoned again and was told ill get a call to reshedule and nothing- i phone them again on Monday and was told they would come out today- they phoned my husband back today saying that due to heavy rains THEY cannot come out to assess the damage- but they fail to understand the urgency of this, the leakage is where the lightbulb connects to the roof and i am afraid that this can cause my house to burn down or my kids being shocked- the roof has now become mouldy and the roof on the stairway is now being affected as well is giving off a stench - I have always had good faith in Standard bank but this is horrible
