We rented a property from Rose Eedes while renovating our house in September 2013. The property we agreed to rent was in a pretty bad state when it was shown to us however we were under time pressure and the rental costs were within our budget. From the time we moved in the whole experience was pretty bad culminating in a cupboard door that had come loose from its hinges falling on my 6 year old daughters head, requiring her to have stitches. On moving out it became a major problem trying to get our full deposit back to the point of Rose charging us for cleaning the bloodied carpet from the accident. Here's an excerpt from an email Rose sent me giving her explanation of how a 6 year old willfully damaged the cupboard and the property "It is very obvious to anyone looking at the cupboard that it didn't just fall on your daughters head. She obviously was on a ladder or a chair trying to get to that cupboard and because of the curtain rail the door does not open fully. I would imagine she lost her balance and tried to hang on to the cupboard door ..". LOL - My 6 year old daughter the flying acrobat. How crazy is this woman?! BTW - still waiting for full deposit to be paid back.
