In September 2013, my fiance purchased a house at the Bergzicht security village Swellendam, the agency used was Pam Golding properties, the costs were given he discussed it with me we decided to do the purchase to date some of the transfer costs hadnt been sorted although it has been paid, all the utilities is still in the name of the previous owner, we moved in we do not even have a municipal electricity card, nothing, we cannot even access the gate to enter since everything is still in the name of the previous owner. Was it not the duty of our agent to see that the new owners are sorted as they were the ones in charge of the sale? They took their money and left us in the gutter. Even upon moving in we came across some broken items which included doors which dont close and plumbing issues we tried to check if this should not have been corrected before we moved in and to date no answer. Very poor service indeed its like the agency just took the money and ran off. We get sent from pillar to post and in the meantime a bond is being paid its almost like we living in other people's house with no guidance or advice at all.
