We rented from Bellco properties for three years, when we indicated we would be moving out in January 2014 the "head" agent forced us into braking contract because she already made a new tenant pay for the month of December 2013 with the 10% increase for 2014.
She offered a "storage apartment" which had no legal contract on it. Only my signature stating that I would bring the key back and move out in January 2014.
The 15th of december we where told to move out. We did so on the 20th of Dec, as it was the only time we could.
Although this was a great trouble as there was no indication that we where supposed to move.
Bellco properties did at this time still not return the owed deposit money for the previous apartment.
This agent then contacted us saying that they are subtracting R3000 from our deposit money for the apartment we used for storage although there was NO legal contract on this apartment, while she broke a legal contract on our previous apartment.
We where treated with disrespect, to and insulted.
I advise you to not hire from Bellco properties.
I would also like some advise as to how I could take this higher, or who to contact in regards to our deposit money?
