We phoned a Agent by the name Judy (from Golden Homes) and scheduled an appointment to view the property
After seeing the property we liked it and asked Judy for the next steps
Then Judy referred us to her colleague Marie to look after further steps
Marie and myself decided to meet at one of the coffee shop to discuss about the way going forward
Minutes of meeting :
-> Agent came to the meeting with OTP form, before entering the details, I have clearly stated that I will go to the bank with home loan
as opposed to Processing the Home loan application via Agent
-> Agent then mentioned that this application which we are doing is not for the Banks- and she clearly mentioned that this is purely
for the seller to see that Buyer is interested to buy the property
-> Assuming that this is purely for the sake of sellers confidence- ( In fact I have mentioned this to the Agent as well), i have signed on the OTP form
in which the amounts were stated as 50% Deposit and 50% Home loan
-> Agent didn't mention during our discussion that, we have to pay the deposit amount within 5 days
