Upon moving out of the unit your given a notice letter that states that you will only receive your rental deposit upon the companies completion of the units investigation which takes 14 working days, I find this practice highly unacceptable as the tenant is expected to pay the deposit before getting the keys.
another practice which this company has is to take 50% of your deposit, even after giving a two months notice which is their requirement when terminating your contract before the term of the lease period.
My advice to anyone looking to rent property in Pretoria which has been my experience not to use Smile Properties
