An annual general meeting was arranged by Pam Golding for a Property in Uvongo on Saturday 19 October 2013. Notices was given on 21 September for the meeting and I confirmed my on 22 September that I will attend. They again phoned me on 17 October to confirm if I will attend. My wife and I flew down from Johannesburg hired a vehicle at Durban airport and arrived in time for the meeting on Saturday morning only to find that the meeting was cancelled by Pam Golding suspecting that there will not be a quorum for the meeting. They phoned me 2 days before to confirm my attendance but did not feel it important to phone me back to advise me of the cancellation. We had people coming from George and Pietermaritzburg all not notified about the cancellation. Some people in Johannesburg was lucky enough to be notified of the cancellation but still lost the payments done on the airline tickets. In total it was found that there was enough people to attend the meeting to form a quorum, but due to bad management from Pam Golding the meeting was cancelled. For a company like Pam Golding I found this to be extremely poor service and hope I will not need to deal with them again.
