I had been in the market for a property in the East Rand in 2012 and must have visited a property on show by Lew Geffen. At that point we started receiving text messages for properties on show.
However, since our focus shifted to a different Jhb suburb, our interest was curbed and I replied "STOP" to unsubscribe from the sms list. Despite this, I kept receiving messages for months afterward.
Getting irritated by the incessant Friday afternoon messages for properties "On Show" the following Sunday, I decided to text Luciana - the estate agent in question - directly to politely ask that I be unsubscribed yet again despite having previously opted out.
She promptly replied that she would do so on 10 May 2013.
Today (and every Friday since), I have kept receiving messages toward the end of each week..
However, this Friday took the crown with, not one, but FIVE messages within minutes of each other.
What will it take to stop the constant harassment?!!!?
