I have been receiving Pick n Pay advertisement sms's for over 6 months. The messages contain a "sms stop to opt out" option which I do every time I receive a sms. And yet, I receive messages every Friday and Saturday. Every time, the sms is from a new number, so I have to sms stop multiple times a month. I then don't receive messages from that number any more, but from a new number instead. I was under the impression that they have to remove me from the marketing list if I request it, and this has not happened.
Iam sure that this is happening to others to and is a violation of my rights by ignoring my requests.
