I'd like to report RBA for their incompetence, disregard for clients and for their lack of business acumen.
Last year my partner and I applied for a Home Loan from my employer, Absa Bank and it was approved by end of September 2012. We were told to pay an amount of R15100.0 and we promised to pay the amount by end of February 2013 since they said they'll be starting with building come January.
I was told that as they finish with the foundation of the house I shall be called to view and this never happened. I was also told that before they finish with the house I shall be called and it also never happened.
This year, 2013, since the bond was approved and now building was in progress we made a final payment of the outstanding amount on 29/05/2013. I called RBA and asked them as to why we have not been called to view and I was told the house is nearly finished and I must not worry because I will be called to view. I then decided one Saturday after work on 01/06/2013 to go to view my house for the first time and when I got there, to my surprise the house was 99% finished according to me and what was left was just the water taps, instead I found the very builders in RBA's employ l
