Dear Sir/Madam
Across my yard at Rietvlei View, there is a big concrete municipal pipe that transport the water from the Rietvlei Dam to the Reservoir located few kilometers away from my house,
The sad part is that this pipe is passes less than a meter from my house.
Its over four years that I have been complaining about this and requesting that it be diverted and removed from my yard and nothing has happened to date. Last year it busted and there was water all over my yard and I suspect this also affected my house as it was in water.
Tshwane is not willing to move this pipe and compensate me for their negligence by approving a house to be built over/close to a servitude. All this happened because of corruption that was taking place in their building section involving inspectors. They know about all this hence they fired the building inspector that was involved.
Can you help me to get compensation for this negligence and get them to remove this pipe from my yard, my house number is 476 Carla Street, Rietvlei View, Pretoria. I am unable to extend my house or use half of my yard fearing that this pipe can burst again and damage my property.
