We have been renting for 3 years, right from the start we experienced problems with maintenance. The last straw was when the tiles in the room of the children lifted up from the floor and the company that we are renting from took 1 & a half months to fix it, totaly unacceptable and unreasonable. Several other problems were fixed time after time instead of replacement and each time there seem to be no sense of urgency. On Friday 6/9/2013 the toilet's pipe burst and to date it has not been fixed. So after the tiles incident we gave notice needless to say and we wanted to safeguard our deposit, Chantal told my husband the our deposit will be used to do maintenace and fix things we broke. The arrogance to say the least in 3 years no inspection was ever done, neither was maintenance even though we did advise them several times. This is unethical behaviour and in contravention of the Consumer Protection Act. I will never again make use of their service and will fight to the bitter end to get my deposit. As I will not be footing the bill because they want to make a buck without maintaining a property properly.
