I am a resident at Carlton View and have been for over 3 years. last year Ithemba took over as managing agents from Afhco and ever since then i have not been a happy tenant. when Ithemba took over they stated that tenants either had to have finger print access or a resident card to enter the building, i have finger print access. we got a new caretaker and now all of a sudden i need a resident card to allow my guests to enter the building regardless of the fact that i have fingerprint access. this has not always been the case, and no communication was sent out that this will be the rule going forward. Now my guests are not allowed into the building just because i do not have a resident card. the rules just seemed to change overnight without any notice. i tried calling the head office to speak to a manger and was told that they are always busy and do not have time to talk to to me. i am upset that i am not even allowed to complain to an individual who has the power to change the behaviours of individuals who behave in an manner that is unbecoming of them. at the end of the day i am a paying tenant and have given no problems in the past.
