A friend of mine and I rented out a place in North riding from national letting back in 2011 and in August of 2012 the apartment was bought by my friend on a private sale with the owner. National letting was supposed to pay us back our deposit within 6 weeks of the transaction.
Fast forward to June 2013, we are still being sent from pillar to post about what happened to our deposit. All sorts of are coming through with them saying that they have paid in the deposit but they can't provide us with any sort of proof that payment was made to us
The concerning thing is that the agents don't even sound phased about this unprofessional act.
