I replied to an advert for a rental of a house, when my husband phoned, Bernard was in a shop but was told to send an sms and Bernard would return the call. After half an hour I phoned and was told he was now driving couldn't do anything, but to send an sms and he would return my call as soon as he got home. The next morning around 11am, I phoned again to enquire about when we could view as we were really interested, only to be told the house had been taken. People had phoned at 7pm the night before and paid the R350 contract fee. How unprofessional can one get? We had the deposit never mind a measly R350. It seems that these agents really treat tenants terribly, I hope no other prospective tenants have such an awful disappointing experience with this property group.
