I am a active property investor, and follow various property sites. A few months ago, I made an offer on a "2 bed unit", won, then went to view--It turned out to be a 1 bed with a 2mx2m closet, I cancelled the offer, and informed them, with pics. They then brand my profile, as someone who reneges on offers, and advertise the property at over retail, and again as a 2 bed.
Two weeks ago, i was the highest bidder on a Standard bank property, at R822k, only for someone to beat the offer at R900k--last minute--It also showed as closed and that the offer for R900k was accepted. Today i see them re-advertise the property in a new auction, and it states the highest previous offer was R800k.
It seems the banks are also complicit in this sham, by association with these scamsters.
