Rented accommodation through Benguela-Langebaan in December. Deposit was paid for any breakages/ damages, etc and an additional fee for cleaning up after our stay. Only damages to property in the week we stayed there, was a rusted bottle opener (that broke as soon as it was used the first time) and a R15 vase (price on bottom of vase). After weeks of trying to get answer regarding the repayment of the deposit, we were told the place was left in such a state that they needed the further R1000 to clean up. I hope the full R1450 was paid to the cleaner who cleaned, because for that amount, the house must really have been in a major state.
Don't expect to get deposit back from this company. Worst service ever. Took a month of emails and phone calls before a response was even given and then every excuse in the book why they should keep the deposit.
