We are renting a flat through Campbell Baxter Properties. Firstly, we were only notified on 20 December 2012 that we need to be out by 31 January 2013. This is LESS than the 'no less than 40 business day's' notification agreement stipulated on the contract. The very next day we told them about this little breach of contract on their part and until today had received absolutely no response from our agent or the Financial Manager Kaz Pape.
So I decided to try again and spoke to Kaz who was extremely unprofessional and very rude. Campbell Baxter Properties was notified in NOVEMBER by the owner that he would not be extending the lease - and they decide to wait until everyone leaves on holiday to notify us about this? How you expect us to find a new apartment over the Christmas and New Year's season is beyond me. You know as well as we do that most agencies are closed during that period.
We will never be using Campbell Baxter Properties in the future, and we will be making sure none of our acquaintances either. This is the worst service I have received in a long while, and I have never spoken to anyone as rude as Kaz Pape. Pathetic attitude for someone that has to deal with clients.
