I am currently looking for an apartment in the Pretoria area. I went onto the Private Property website and found one with Infinitum noted as the agent. I got in contact with there offices and I was advised that they will send me the tenants details and I will need to arrange a viewing with them directly (since when does the agent not arrange this on your behalf???) which I did. I arranged with the Valencia (tenant) to view on the 28.05 for 18h00. I left work (Dainfern) at 16h00 to get there on time only to find that she was not home. I tried calling the tenant numerious times, with no luck and the agent Lizana didnt answer her calls either. This has been a MAJOR inconvenience and I feel I should be reimbursed for the inconvenience caused. This is UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least. If the agent was available and arranged a viewing (the way it should be) maybe I could have viewed it while the tenant was not home. I am yet to make a call to their directors to have this sorted.
